The purpose of this service is to improve the flow of information between publishers and faculty, and to better inform faculty about new text publications in order to help them meet their campus bookstore’s text adoption deadline. The service is supported by textbook publishers and provided with cooperation from campus bookstores. This site allows faculty to review recently published and forthcoming new text publications for their curriculum more efficiently. This is done by integrating information from over 20 supporting publishers in one place, and customizing reports for each school's curriculum, by course number.
Once you’ve created a report for your department, simply browse by course number to see new titles that are similar in content and level to your current or previous course texts. Each new publication is linked to the publisher's product information page for that title. For this update, we are listing new titles published between January and December 2008.
This site is not meant to dictate which new publications are best suited for any particular course. Only the course instructor(s) can make that determination. We work closely with the publishers to accurately match new publications to similar existing course texts; however these reports are not perfect. Please contact me at tom@twmresearch.com if you have questions, comments, or suggestions for improving this service.
Sincerely,
